Annual General Meeting 2007

It is the time of the year to elect new committees for next year. Please nominate members whom you know are confident and has leadership qualities. Feel free to nominate yourself if you want to be in the board. E-mail us (msa_rmit@yahoo.com) & give us the person’s name, e-mail address and contact number.

Please take into consideration that good committee members will bring the club a better future and thus give you more benefits. Nomination will end on 2nd October 2007 (Tuesday). Those who are nominated will receive an e-mail from us for further notice.

All members are encouraged to attend the AGM and please bring along your friends who are not members for them to register with us.

"MOONCAKE FESTIVAL"

Coming back to lectures and tutorials after a short break is so "uncool". Knowing it's 3 weeks left before the semester exams and graduation, MSA - RMIT University is having the Mooncake Festival. It's a popular Asian celebration of abundance and togetherness, dating back over 3,000 years to China's Zhou Dynasty (refer to Wikipedia for more info:-D). There is going to be heaps of food, games, tea, lanterns and socializing, so come along with your friends & let's celebrate!

Draculas’ Cabaret Dinner

Dear members,

MSA RMIT is organizing a social gathering in the famous Draculas’ Cabaret Restaurant. Those who have not been to this restaurant, this is your chance! Draculas’ has won a lot of tourism awards. So come join us in a night of excellent performances, fantastic ambience and great company.

Time: 7pm (Pls be punctual..Or else you’ll miss the ghost train!)

What does the price include?
Ticket price includes ghost train ride, three-course dinner, all pre-show entertainment and a two-hour live horror-comedy show. Drinks and souvenirs are not included in the ticket price but can be purchased on the night.

What is the current show?
'Vampirates' opened 6th June 2007

What does the menu include?
Dracula's has a three-course set menu with a choice of 5 mains. Vegetarians are catered for.

What happens when the show finishes?
The cocktail bar and disco is open until midnight. Please join its crazy team for a drink and a dance before you leave us for the evening.
